Reflections on my experience
One section from My Life Balance Wheel since October:
«Which aspects stand out as areas where your life is disappointing?
- I wouldn't say that I'm disappointed in anything, it's just that maybe
I need to pay more attention to the Physical and Intellectual Sections. I think
it's because I just don't have time to deal with myself and some of my areas of
life that require emotional balance and physical strength.
What factors are at work in these areas?
- These areas of life are affected by the general workload (study and
work) and simply the lack of time and energy to engage in my thoughts, emotions
and physical health. I would like to improve these areas, but when you’re
always in a «tired state», it seems impossible.»»
First of all, I want to say that there are some changes for the better.
I started to take more care of myself, went to the necessary doctor, and I
began to choose myself more often. I am also now interested in yoga and
exercises to relieve fatigue. This is the first time in my life that I've had a
relaxing professional massage and I plan to continue. During the winter
holidays, I went to Moscow and had a good time.
After the winter holidays, of course, I have a little more strength, but
I am very afraid of the upcoming exams and I cannot be completely calm.
Nevertheless, as a fourth-year student, I feel that I have already done a great
job, I continue to learn new things and strive to work in my profession.
10
things I've learned
Academic Insights:
·
I learned a lot of new vocabulary on the topic of
"Education";
·
I read a book for Individual reading, which I had been
putting off for a long time due to lack of time, and it was nice - it's a
contribution to myself;
·
I went to a psychological internship at a school as a
psychologist and finally saw how psychologists work, learned their routines and
working tools!
Personal Discoveries:
·
I realized that I want to continue working at the
English language school (I was hesitant before);
·
I'm gradually realizing that I need to introduce
healthy habits and self-care into my routine - it's great and it gives me motivation
in all areas of my life.
Achievements:
·
I'm proud that I read the book I wanted to;
·
I'm proud that I was able to go on a little trip and
everything went according to plan;
·
I started taking more care of myself and thinking
about myself - massages, some sports, yoga, avoiding soda (which I adore).
Practical Lessons:
·
I continue to plan my work and study days in writing,
and I also break down the "big things" into many small steps, so it
becomes easier and doesn't seem like such a massive and difficult work;
·
I often do breathing exercises to relieve tension and
stress.
So I think I'm making progress, but I still have problems with my negative attitude and of course I'm tired, because it's impossible to get rid of it forever. But I try to think more positively and surround myself with people who help me in this.
